Flawed By Design

I heard this band a few days ago. Their first album releases in January. 

The music, and the vocals in particular, remind me strongly of another band, but I can't put my finger on the name....

But those two songs are pretty good, though I don't think I'll be buying the album.

I've heard them compared to These 5 Down.

They do sound like These 5 Down! But that wasn't what I was thinking of.

Seven System and Gryp are the only other bands I can find, but I don't think it was them, either. This is going to bother me all day.

My first "must have" album for 2015.  Releases Jan 27.

Sounds kind of like a heavier Thousand Foot Krutch, especially vocally, at least from the first song. Not bad, but I don't think I'd spend money on this.

Woohoo, it's finally here!  I got my copy today and my expectations are exceeded. Everything I like in metal; bone crushing guitar riffs, understandable (but not too pretty) vocals, and an unapologetic message of Christ.

Loved that band: they started to get really tight live with their new Neil Peart-like drummer.  Then the wheels fell off when the label wouldn't release their follow-up, but, I guess, they (Dez Dickerson) had good reason.
