Yeah they are pretty awesome! More progressive death metal I think... hard to categorize. Very original. Kerrick got me into them.

I don't know if I will ever fully understand all of the subgenres we have now. Does black metal require makeup and swords?

The Autumn League lacks tremolo picking style and vocals and blast beats which are all staples of BM. They clearly have progressive elements so I say progressive death metal based on the vocals but like I said they are indeed a bit difficult to categorize.

I have a Muppet theory on vocals. If it sounds like Cookie Monster, I think death metal. If it sounds like an angry Gonzo, I think black metal.
