Living Sacrifice has been one of the most inconsistent bands. They had three stylistic changes over the years…
From “Slayer thrash” to (death metal) to (metal-core).

Well actually, maybe Mortification has changed more times than LS.

Except: Hammer of God and Silver Cord.
Those are mostly shouted vocals. And the other stuff (after Scrolls) is a mixture of death growls and shouts. Musically they were more thrash after the classic lineup disbanded.

While occasionally thrashier or more old school death metal in places, they seemed like more of a mash-up of death n' roll and groove metal to me.
IDK.
Eclectic extreme metal?

I really only care for the S/T, then they went more death metal, then metalcore boring.

Idk. For Today is awesome, later LS can't hold my attention, which is REALLY saying something considering I love Inamorata, Octavarium, Mirror Of Souls, I Am, Serpent's Kiss etc.Pethead wrote:How can you possibly like For Today and then find later Living Sacrifice boring??? 🤪🤪🤪

In Memoriam is actually pretty good. Why isn't it on the list?

It’s a comp with only 3 new songs.

Yes, In Memoriam has 3 new songs to begin, then it goes backwards through their albums.
