Sebastien (melodic power metal)

I stumbled upon these Czechs and they sound pretty good.  Glancing at their lyrics, they appear to have to have a lot of Christian themes, though I need to do a deeper dig.  Whaddya think?

O know them because the old singer of Firewind did a song with them. They remind me a lot of Firewind mixed with Kamelot, don't know about the lyrics.

They performed with Tony Martin IIRC, or recorded with him?

I don't know but that'd be interesting.

Both I believe!  Check out the youtube videos below.  The track Lamb Of God has some very odd lyrics though which gives me great pause...

Yeah...  What's strange is some of their other lyrics appear to be pretty alright, and on their website bio it mentioned their main guy helping with some Christian music contest or something.  I dunno what to make of it all.  I'd be curious to hear their insights on the Lamb Of God lyrics.

I’m just shocked he found a band with name I can pronounce.

Ha!  Well, my in-laws will be visiting in less than a month and offered to bring me CDs from over there.  I'm trying to find Christian (or at least "Christian-friendly") CDs to ask for but I'm having trouble finding any bands I wasn't already aware of.

If you need any more Euro Power metal goodness, I know a guy who can hook you up...

Haha perhaps my people and your people should talk...    You know any good Christian bands from Slovakia/Hungary/Czech Republic?  I'm familiar with the bigger ones like Signum Regis, Within Silence, Kreyson, and their related bands.
