I went Testament, but it was close between them and Exodus.

I like both Kreator and Sepultura, but not quite as much as the other two.

I guess I’d rank them:

It's hard for me to choose between Testament and Exodus but ultimately I'd pick Testament as I like their best album over Exodus' best album.

Kreator and Sepultura are nowhere close to those 2 for me, although I enjoy them.

It's because they were simplistic, groovy, and had a great drummer.

Exodus couldn't fit into that zeitgeist.  No one cared about "guitar teams" anymore.

Yeah, they're easily #5 in the Big 5.  Maybe even 4 since Anthrax has lost so much popularity after SoWN and Testament has gained so much post-Gathering.

Yep, I’ve wondered if we should move Anthrax for Testament when we speak of the modern big 4. And I say that as a huge fan of classic Thrax.
