Your list has Meshuggah on it. Listen to Whitewashed Tombs and tell me it's not a Slayer rip off.

I know my list has Meshuggah, you said you're confused by what I said about Meshuggah which I didn't even say anything about them. And Whitewashed Tombs is awesome, still doesn't sound like Slayer imo. To be fair the only Slayer song I know is Raining Blood. I avoid them because of their lyrics.Black Rider wrote:Your list has Meshuggah on it. Listen to Whitewashed Tombs and tell me it's not a Slayer rip off.

Going back to your list, for Toto some early White Heart or later Sweet Comfort Band might fit the bill.

Listen to Silent Scream. It's an anti-abortion song.Christian Thrash Rules wrote:I know my list has Meshuggah, you said you're confused by what I said about Meshuggah which I didn't even say anything about them. Ok. Not the kind of song I would expect from Slayer though.StevenCressler wrote:Listen to Silent Scream. Ok, but Ritual Servant has a ton of Slayer in their sound.

"Meshuggah - My pick is Prayer. They only have one album (Alpha) and it was released 7 years ago so we might not get anymore sadly."
That's what you wrote about Meshuggah.

Not as much as that first Living Sacrifice album IMHO.

Agreed, but that LS is a dead-ringer. Ritual Servant just has a lot of the Slayer sound without being identical.Temple of Blood wrote:Pethead wrote:Ok, but Ritual Servant has a ton of Slayer in their sound.
