Fav Sci-Fi comedy films

Was thinking about this, and I pretty much came to the conclusion that Galaxy Quest is my favorite. Total love letter to shows like Star Trek, and a great cast (Tim Allen, Alan Rickman, Tony Shaloub, Sigourney Weaver).

Yes, of the many, many sci-fi comedys. Galaxy Quest is the best.
It is better than the other sci-fi comedy, Spaceballs.

Aw, I really dig Spaceballs. Some other favs:
Men in Black (only the first one)
Weird Science (though I do prefer the tv series more)
Back to the Future (the whole trilogy)
Innerspace
Matinee (not really a sci-fi film, but a tribute to 60s science fiction films and the filmakers who made them)

The Orville was pretty good. Not a film but it was a tv show.
