Underrated metal riffs?

What are some of your favorite riffs that no one talks about?

I have a lot, but right now Metallica's "Wherever I May Roam" is stuck in my head.

Dunno that I can call any Metallica underrated, but Don’t Tread on Me is a monster riff I don’t see discussed as much.

Still of the Night is an absolute banger, painfully cringeworthy lyrics though

Sweet Amber from St. Anger has an amazing riff starting at 3:45. Too bad the snare drum is probably at its worst during that riff, and I'd love to hear that riff played on a fast thrash beat but they are going slow on drums for that fast riff.

St. Anger had several great riffs scattered across the album, but they were rendered moot by the horrible production and arrangements.

Some Kind of Monster is the best riff from St. Anger imo

I dunno, I thought the riffs were stock…

When St. Anger first came out, the local rock/metal radio station played Some Kind Of Monster a ton and I absolutely hated it.  But I remember hearing a couple other tracks from that album that I thought were actually pretty decent.  Granted, this was still very early on in my metal development and my tastes have changed substantially...

You should spin the whole thing and get back to us…

Oh my, that sounds... painful for everyone.  But perhaps not as painful as Lars' cowbell?
