Pethead —I actually and surprisingly love it. I have to admit, when I first heard the single Sleeping Giant last year I wasn’t really too enthused about it. But listening to the whole album on iTunes just now, it has great production and the whole album flows really well.

It’s not my preferred style of metal but I dig it! Actually, even the extra ambient tracks are quite good. I have her album Ancient Winter and totally love that. I also have the instrumental version of that record. Great background music!

Out of all her discography, how would you rank her albums? Knowing I like this new one and like Ancient Winter, what album would you suggest I listen to next?

I think the only other one I’ve heard was Kings and Queens, but it didn’t really grab me. I should go back to her older stuff, though. I’m a sucker for female vocals in metal and it’s hard to find a ton of great ones in the Christian sphere.

When it first came out I think they wanted 10 bucks or so for a 3 song download which is too steep for me. I'd still like to actually own a copy as this sounds really high-quality to me.

Much is said about Rey Perra's voice, but the guitars and drums on this album are equally awesome. Just exceptional stuff here from top to bottom. Never gets old!!!

Tony Velasquez is the tightest drummer I've ever seen live (although I haven't seen Mark Zonder or Johanne James).
