Bruce Dickinson - Afterglow Of Ragnarok
Has anyone heard this new single from Bruce Dickinson yet?
It's very dark-sounding. The main riffs remind me of older Savatage, while the rest is like a mix of goth metal and 2000's alt metal.
Apparently a full album will be coming out on March 1. It sounds promising musically but I could do without the occult themes that Blabbermouth says will be in the album.

I'll check it out but some of his lyrics keep me from getting too excited.

I never did get into Bruce's solo stuff for the same reason.

Dickinson has an unhealthy interest in Aleister Crowley. He even produced a poorly reviewed movie about him.
I believe Crowley is the subject of 'Revelations,' which he wrote.

Eew. I looked into this and yes, the dude has apparently been obsessed with Aleister Crowley since he was a teenager.
As for him being upset that "rich people" were in the front rows, I'd ask him what do you expect when you're a band of multi-millionaires charging hundreds of dollars for your shows? Put your money where your mouth is and lower the prices and maybe your virtue-signaling will mean something.
