Sounds Like... Empty Sounds Like...

Anyone know of a list of secular bands, and christian bands that they sound like?  I remember finding a site a long (long long) time ago, and wondered if anyone knew of any.  If not, could you list a few bands below.  I have many nonchristian work colleagues, and they've listened to Theocracy's Ghost Ship (and enjoyed it), and sooner or later they're going to ask... 'Have you a christian band that sound like..."
I want to be ready with a few ideas to help them out.

Judas Priest = Saint
Iron Maiden = Some Barren Cross
Metallica = Some Torn or Eternal Decision

Anyone list a few more to help out.

Great resource. Some of the info is inaccurate—Barren Cross does NOT sound like Maiden outside of the vocals—but there’s some helpful stuff here for sure.

Sure thing, I hope it serves you well!  As Pethead mentioned, not all the comparisons are necessarily very close.  But it'll give you a good starting point anyways; you might just want to sample some of the recommendations before you suggest them to your coworkers.

Cage had one or two songs that were "Christian-friendly" and the lyrics were actually quite good.
But yeah, the rest of their catalog is not Biblically-based.
