I'll be there.

I'm planning on being there. Looking forward to seeing Luke of course!  Hopefully the bands are at their tables some. Not a big fan of the Meet & Greets they do. Doesn't mesh well with the ministry aspect but I understand the cost to tour. It was cool last year chatting with Jim Laverde and Michael Drive a bit at the BC table and see them speak into the lives of many. The Chaotic Resemblance guys were highly available as well (as you would expect). Maybe I'm just reminiscing too much about the good old days of bringing friends to the shows and hanging out with the bands afterwards. Many of my friends still talk about the impact that made on their lives.

Yea, I understand the cost of touring, many of these folks are not living in the lap of luxury. Most of them are available to chat a bit during the fest.

I was really hoping to go, but had to put money into other things.

I want to, but it is a little over 6 hours to drive.  I would love to go to both parts, but I can't.  If I went, it would have to be in September.

Wimp! We’re driving over 8 hours to get there.

I will be there for both weekends. From Cal.

I'll be there with my two oldest boys on Saturday. They wanted to see OBP and Disciple. It is a 3 hr drive. I'll be back by myself on Sunday night for Theocracy.

I wanted to attend, but had important plans that weekend.  I hope to make it to the September one.  I have been to the venue (saw Phil Keaggy & Randy Stonehill there a couple eyars ago).. Great venue!

Agreed on the venue. Safe, clean, the sound is always excellent (clear and not too loud), good food (for what it is), friendly people, etc. They are also clearly aiming at putting Christ into everything they do with gospel tracts sitting out, scriptures throughout the venue, and putting Christian bands on as openers with secular headliners. I wish it weren't 3.5hrs from my house because they keep getting good shows. 

Ironically, I had to go there to see Stryper with my two oldest sons (8 & 10yrs old at the time) because they played 30 minutes from our house but at a casino!

Well, that convinced me to do it!   


I have toyed around with going, decided against it, toyed around with the idea again and again until this morning.  As of today, I am IN for the fest and will be there both days staying at a nice little AirBnB!

I will try to wear my Saint shirt for Saturday and either KISS or Alice Cooper for Sunday.  I am a big guy, so spotting me shouldn't be hard.

I am not pretty much committed to going.  The only way is if some unforeseen issue comes up for that weekend.  
I live about 90 minutes away, so I have no excuse, really lol.

Awesome! I’ll be sporting my Deliverance or Bon Jovi shirt. I too am a big guy and not hard to spot.

We’re not racing to get there early for those guys. Their placement in this festival is…odd.

It does seem like some odd pairing when it comes to a metal festival to have these guys.  Of course, after The Brave pulled out, this may be who they could get on short notice.  If they could have found a more local band to open instead, I think that would have been much better.

Not sure about that. When I heard about The Brave not being able to make it, I alerted the band Messenger from D.C. They were so ready to bring the Christian metal with a message but they were told no, The Brave will not be replaced.
