Arcade - “Arcade” (1993)

I’ve just discovered this gem from 1993. On this heels of the breakup of Ratt, Steven Pearcy formed this rock and roll band. This is great stuff. It doesn’t sound like Ratt. It’s got a strong Aerosmith vibe. Fans of Ratt (like me) will enjoy it. Here’s a couple of my favorites:

I thought they sounded like Tesla with Pearcy on vox, good stuff either way.

I had this CD back in the day.  I thought it was alright but didn't find the songs particularly strong memorable.  
But back then we were drowning in this style, so possibly if I gave it another chance in 2023 it might sound better.

I have an old friend who claimed to like those first two Arcade albums better than Ratt (at the time).  I'm pretty certain that I only have the first album, but it is darned good stuff.

I almost bought a copy of the first album a couple days ago at a used CD store. 

I actually remember when the band debuted on the radio many moons ago! I liked the punchy bass guitar sound. 

Although I liked it, there’s no way it’s better than the classic Ratt era (Out of the Cellar and Invasion of Your Privacy).
