Been getting into some female-fronted metal recently. Who are some of your favorite ladies who rock the mic?

1. Jacqueline Kunz (Ancient Prophecy)
2. Anette Olzon (Nightwish; The Dark Element; others)
3. Jenny Stokes (Evans and Stokes)

Don't know about favorite but I enjoy all three that have sang for Night wish, Brittney and Nancy Jo Mann who sang for Barnabas. Also liked Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy and feel like her replacement isn't as strong.

I almost put Wendy because I love Rez so much, but to be honest I prefer it when Glenn sings.

I'm not a fan of female vocals in metal, or most other genres for that matter (I will allow them to sing in choirs). There are a few exceptions though:

-Elisa C. Martin (the somewhat boyish sound of her voice makes her tolerable and it also appeared to be indicative of the fact that she's a lesbian)
-Nitte Valo
-Britney Slayes (I don't find the songs she sings on interesting in any way but she's got a good voice)
-Leah McHenry (she has the homeschooling mom bonus for me)

Ann-Mari Edvardsen (The 3rd And The Mortal)

I'm not sure her name but the lady from Leonov

Suzuka Nakamoto (Babymetal, lead vocals) say what you want about this group, but she's absolutely dynamite and has a crazy range with a ton of control.

Brittney Slayes (Unleash the Archers) yet another powerhouse.

Nozukidaira Io (Broken by the Scream) she has some great deathcore guttural growls. This band has some of the weirdest sound combos but I love it.
