They have a very solid catalog overall, but my favorite is Nightfall in Middle Earth.

NIME because it's great and I love Tolkien's works but the four albums beginning with Tales are all excellent.

Yeah, that's a heck of a run they had. 

I'd even extend the run out through A Twist in the Myth. I've enjoyed their stuff since then, but that was the last one that really stood out to me. 

I don't think they have a bad album, although I haven't spun Beyond the Red Mirror much, because it didn't really grab me.

Blind Guardian is amazing, and I LOVE their new album.  That being said, they never touched the greatness of Imaginations From The Other Side for me.  Nightfall is great, but the epicness of just the title track from Imaginations...WOW!
