What’s your favorite song from this classic?
Mine is Deceiver. I love the rap delivery of the verses and the nasty guitar work. The whole album is fantastic!

I would probably pick the title track Sweet Destiny.

Here I Come Again, followed by Eastern Skies (despite the too-long intro) and Deceiver.
Great album. So glad it was finally reissued.

Re: Favorite Track: Siloam - Sweet Destiny
I first bought this on cassette in 1991 and I thought it was a depressing album for some reason. Then I bought the CD years ago and then I bought the Retroactive reissue on CD and vinyl. I seem to like it much more after getting the reissue. A lot of great songs. The only one that I can't stand is Lethal Lady. That song just drives me up the wall and I can't get into it at all (kind of like Bloodgood's song Demon On the Run - to me it don't quite fit with the other 9 great songs but I don't dislike Demon nearly like as much I do with Lethal Lady. The other 9 Sweet Destiny songs are quite good, even the 3 or 4 ballads. I also bought the recent Retroactive reissue of Dying to Live as well which came in the mail a few days ago. The funny thing is I don't think Dying to Live reissue got as much advertising as Sweet Destiny. Regardless, I like both albums the same. Siloam is an underrated Canadian band. Had they been around in the 80s they would of been much bigger.
