Stone Axe - 70s influenced classic rock revival band
I just came across these guys, and bought their disk "Stay of Execution" right away. This album is made up of cuts from splits and singles over the years. The main guy is Tony Reed from Mos Generator handling almost all the instrumentation and Dru Brinkerhoff singing. There are touches of Whitesnake, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Paul Rodgers, etc. all over these songs. Really digging this.

Oh wow, very cool!
I have one or two of those Mos Generator albums. They were already kind of an eclectic doom/stoner outfit, so this isn't a huge departure for Tony.
