Since DAY ONE, we've always been able to count on you (the fans) to support Stryper. Thank you!
Now 35 years after you rallied hard to blast us into MTV HISTORY, we're calling on you once again with a NEW MISSION...help do the same thing for us in the digital age of streaming.
We want to make an OFFICIAL STRYPER DOCUMENTARY FILM that not only tells OUR story, but most importantly the stories of the greatest FANS on the planet, YOU!
What does Stryper mean to you?
How has our music affected your life?
We’ll combine it all to help other people come to know the Lord. We want to be able to tell these stories, YOUR STORIES, with Stryper’s unique voice; as well as share our faith, our music, and our FUTURE with the world...

From the Patreon email:
"What’s up Fan Club + Friends and Family...
(BIG ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW - Please keep it a secret until Monday 11/8!)"
If you respect the band, respect their wishes

Agreed, please delete the original post, Stryper is making plenty of money for a documentary from Stryper jigsaw puzzles, Styper candles, Tote bags and the rest of their merchandising operation.
bodachi: you might want to re-consider your patreon monthly payment as the info is available to non-patreon, non-paying individuals and your payments do not give you access to privileged information as you thought.
PLUS, Your post ORDERING that a post be removed is very offensive, displays an ill-advised presumptive idea of authority and, I hope, won't be repeated again in the future. Thank you.

Some Stryper fan's pay for secrets such as these and it rubs them wrong when others get the info for free. Unfortunately their fandom and idolatry is an abhorrence and their misguided worship of the the mortal should be pitied.

Agreed. We should be very careful about accusing other believers of sin.bodachi wrote:That was out of linewintersdawn wrote:Some Stryper fan's pay for secrets such as these and it rubs them wrong when others get the info for free. Thank you, apology accepted
(I joined their patreon for exclusive music. I blame my OCD)
My authoritative tone in my original response was intended to convey a sense of urgency, not to boss people around Lexmetalis, I suppose I should apologize for that. The only information I had was from the email I received.

In line with what wintersdawn said, as great as they are, Stryper isn’t high on my list for bands who need my limited funds. (I do recognize times are tough for any band, of course. That’s why I buy music).
I do understand wanting that exclusive music, of course!

A mod started another thread on this, maybe a mod can combine that thread with this one. Thank you.

Not interested. Not a fan of stories from the bands, music videos, books, merch...all I ever wanted from my bands is music.
I WOULD, however, love a CD of the original YABA mix
