Mike Howe (Lead SInger of Metal Church) has died

WOW cant believe this:

It was shocking, saw it last night.  Would like to know how he died / what the cause was.   
Pray for his family, he had a wife and an 18-year-old son and I am not sure how many other children.

The article I posted says while away from Metal Church  "I raised a couple of boys" not sure if thats all of his children?

I would to, I hope its not addiction or something, that just makes things even more tragic.

Hopefully we will find out more in due time.   
At 55, he looked so incredibly healthy and athletic.

Losing John Wetton 4 years ago was rough. This one hurts. Both these guys were in my top 5 singers lists.

Terrible news, they were on a roll with him back.

Mike Howe was a great and unique vocalist. One of my favorites! R.I.P.

Blessing in Disguise was one of my first metal albums beyond Metallica and Megadeth. Anthem to the Estranged is one of the most incredible vocal performances of all time. Rest in Pieces is amazing. Mike was one of the most talented vocalists the scene has ever had. Seemed like a genuinely good man as well. A sad day for all who knew him. So tough.

Metal Church is one of my all time favorites.  Got to see them live a few times in the early 90s. Was hoping to get to see them again with Howe back in the band.

Now they are saying that Mike committed suicide....that he hung himself.  
If you ask me, that brings up even MORE questions!    What really happened that would drive him to suicide?

Mike Howe's Death Ruled A Suicide

The band released a statement blaming Big Pharma for Mike's death, and that he met the "Fake Healer."
Now that it has been ruled suicide, it could be that he was on those anti-depression meds. You know, the ones that you see in the commercials. "Suicidal thoughts or actions may occur."
I've been sad all week over this. I saw Metal Church in this little tiny place, Jewel Nightclub in Manchester NH, just as they were releasing XI. It was the best show I saw in this club. (Along with Evergrey)

I agree that he probably was on anti-depression meds that actually gave him the urge to take his own life. The side effects of big pharma medications is sometimes worse than the original ailments.

So sad… he seemed to enjoy his return to the band before the shutdown.
