Lynch Mob is canceled.

George Lynch has announced that he’s pulling the plug on Lynch Mob. He sites “the current state of the world” as the reason. In other words... political incorrectness and the racist connotation of the name.

He’s had the name 30 years. Now it’s a big deal? This hypersensitivity has gone too far!

It's out of hand but in light of it, it makes sense for him.

Hoo boy, this is getting ridiculous! Does anyone care? Does anyone have a sense of humor anymore? This snowflake mentality is getting old.

Considering how bad the "re-imagining" of the Wicked Sensation album was recieved, wouldnt be surprised if this is a convenient way out.

"Cancel Culture" needs to be Cancelled!   

Well it isn't as if he hasn't recorded under half-a-dozen other band names.  If you look the band up on wikipedia there have been around 30 members in the band.  So he could easily just rebrand as something else.

I heard a sample of the new reimagined album. It’s terrible! George made the right decision to disband!

That is exactly what I was thinking.  In our world now, all you have to do is scream "Racist!" and you can force people to stop doing something or change a name of something.  I read an article yesterday about how Hawaiian shirts are now a symbol of white supremacists supposedly.  I have three of these and I am not going to be bullied into not wearing them as they are comfy, cool to wear in hot temperatures, and appeal to my inner Weird Al fan.
