Any Appreciaters of Christafari?
As one who enjoys many genres of music, lately I've been getting into the reggae tones of Christafari (after having made another recent pass through my Bob Marley - Legend cd). Just wondering if anyone else out there may like Christafari - and reggae in general - and could maybe recommend your favorite Christafari album if so. I recently ordered Soulfire and Valley of Decision, believing it best to start from the beginning when discovering a band. Word Sound & Power and No Compromise also seem appealing. I've also discovered that the group, Temple Yard, had also branched off of Christafari and released an album.

I too enjoy many genres of music, even though metal and hard rock are my favorites. I like some good reggae every so often, and bought "Soulfire" when it came out and really enjoyed it. After that I found their albums to be spotty so I basically lost interest.
But I recently checked out "Original Love" which came out in 2018 and thought it was excellent, definitely one of their best. Cannot say the same for the prior album "Hearts Of Fire," did not care for that one.
One issue I have with the band is that their albums is that the lyrics can be overbearing and repetitive after awhile. As far as musicality goes however, they are excellent at what they do and have a great sound.

I like Reggae music on occasion. The simplicity of the music makes the message of the vocals very easy to follow. And it’s very accessible for a wide range of people to enjoy.
The Bad Brains actually did it very well.

I've never been actively seeking out this kind of music, but there's something about these guys that makes my soul smile.

I have most of their stuff in my playlist, it makes for a nice change in between all the metal and rap. The dub tracks are fire and I also enjoy their version of well known worship songs.
