Been listening to a ton of devin townsend lately. Would love to find a Christian artist who has similar flavors.

You're probably already aware, but Townsend produced BTA's album Dichotomy and did guest vocals on one track:

Otherwise, I'm not sure of any Christian artists who might fit that bill...

Doesn't look like there's anything comparable but that's understandable. He's quite unique.

Been listening quite a lot to Nightrage recently, I'd like my own songs to have a similar sound, but with a little less growling and more clean vocals. Death Metal with less "Death", so to speak...a little bit in this direction.
