Re: New Kreyson Song
Good song, but not awesome. Is there a new album out?
I really enjoyed Navrat Krale, though I am not very into music when it is not sung in english.

I like the sound of this but wish they'd do an English version. I'd buy it if it were in English so I could actually understand what is sang.
Re: New Kreyson Song
This is a good time to ask a question. I'm getting into more bands in hard rock and metal. I'm considering buying some Stairway music. I heard some of their new album and other albums and they are quite good. A month or more ago I heard some Keyson and I liked them as well. Are they a Christian band or are only some members Christian? I don't know much about them.

Re: New Kreyson Song
Metal archives lists their lyrical themes as "Christian, Love (early) Life, Corruption (later)".
And yeah, it's pretty annoying that they don't sing in English. I mean, Czech is a fairly annoying language according to people who tried to learn it (end result was most of the time being good at speaking Polish).

Since you threw Stairway into this, I will answer for them. They are undoubtedly a Christian band. However, do not expect lyrical content like American Christian bands that sometimes come off as "cheerleaders for Jesus" with their writing. Stairway do present the gospel, but their approach is of a more intellectual nature. That doesn't mean you won't hear about Jesus. Expect to hear about Him in every song but done very well.
Where Stairway has had problems in the past is with their mix/mastering. They have a great sound and style, but their production has often held them back. With their latest release, they solved that and you can hear just how epic they truly are.
OK, we now return you to the Kreyson discussion!

New Kreyson?... I'm in!
I'm not bothered by vocals that aren't in English. I would lose a noticeable portion of my collection if I went English only.

^It's not just the non-English issue, it's the fact that it's Czech Non-English doesn't bother me really (for instance I like Rammstein, Falconer (Armod album), Heidevolk...)

Re: New Kreyson Song
I would be very bummed if they started singing in English; much of their charm is that they sing in Czech I think.
As for their beliefs, I can't say for sure of course, but they seem quite "Christian." Their latest album title translates to "The Return Of The King" and the opening track is about Archangel Michael.

Re: New Kreyson Song
Wow, that´s a good one although it is a bit balladesque.
I loved Kreyson during the 90ies they really helped me to deal with the
grunge / hardcore episode
I did´t know that Roland Grapow (Helloween / Masterplan)
and Mike Terrana (Rage, Tarja) were involved.
Thanks Kerrick!

I do acknowledge though that the Czech Republic is one of the most "atheistic" countries in the world. So Kreyson is doing a good job anyway.

Re: New Kreyson Song
Yes, both Kreyson and Stairway are christian banda. Undoubtedly.
Soldier 777, I would strongly recommend Letter 7 and Signum Regis, as well.
