Phinehas - Dark Flag
Phinehas has just announced a new album, coming out in November, have dropped a new single (the title track), and released pre-orders
[Oh yea and they got signed to Solid State last week]
All right at this link: http://smarturl.it/darkflag
(I recommend listening to the whole song on Spotify, the teaser version at the link is pretty low quality)

Re: Phinehas - Dark Flag
old man chiming in here...
I don't find many modern era bands (ahem, mid-nineties or later) that I like...
until the last year or so the only one I really found was Becoming the Archetype but now Phinehas is on that list...BTA is still the best of the "modern era" but Phinehas is definitely second on the list for me

That's awesome! Phinehas definitely has a more straight up metal side to them than most modern bandscrucifyd wrote:old man chiming in here...

I can see liking this about ten years ago but now if I want this kind of music I just pull out some KSW, BTA or DH.

Re: Phinehas - Dark Flag
Gotta say this is album of the year contender for me
2 of my favorite songs, Communion For Ravens has guest vocals by Jimmy Ryan (Haste The Day, Trenches) and its song of the year for me

While I do like their earlier work a little better, this is still a solid release.
