Staple "Of Truth And Reconciliation"

The Who - Tommy.

Not the studio album, but the live version from their legendary concert at Leeds in 1970. While a appreciate the historical significance of the studio version and do think it's a good album, I've always found it overrated and definitely not one of the better Who albums (though far from one of the worst).

This, on the other hand, is absolutely fantastic. Louder, heavier, more energetic, and Roger has transitioned into his Who's Next / Quadrophenia era voice, so the vocals are WAY better. They also cut out some of useless filler songs. If they had recorded the album like this, it would have easily been one of the best works of that era.
