DragonForce - Reaching Into Infinity

Really like these guys, but never seem to get around to picking up their full albums, I always just grab a few songs off of itunes

Indeed it is.

I'll have to look in to this further.  I lost interest and n them shortly after the vocalist switch awhile back.

One of those big power metal bands of which I still have no album. Although I'm interested in their debut, since it's fairly influential/well known.

But it would be nice to explore these guys' upcoming album; from what I've read so far, it promises to be somewhat different.

Ive known about these guys ever since they got famous because of their songs being on Guitar Hero
(Back when I was only a core fan, I wrote them off as cheesy)

And I realize now that they are incredibly cheesy, in the best way possible

Anyway, I was interested in their last album Maximum Overload but only bought a couple songs off of it

But with the new stuff, I love what I am hearing so far!

Great to watch live as well. I only discovered them when they toured with Judas Priest with the new singer.

I pre-ordered a signed copy of the new release so look forward to receiving it. Some DragonForce on the i-Pod is required today.

I'd say the last 3 albums (including this one) are better than their older stuff. Yeah, we all liked "Through the Fire and Flames", but listening to whole albums of nothing but that speedy blur stuff got old fast. They've got a better balance of speed and mid-tempo stuff now.

The early stuff wasn't only speed if you get into deeper cuts. Problem with DF is I like a few songs per album but get bored with whole albums.

I'm really enjoying the new album. Much more variety throughout.
