5 days left - Will you help me support The Choir as they re-release Wide Eyed Wonder?

The Choir, and specifically their seminal work, Wide Eyed Wonder, is one of the great alt-rock influences of my younger days. I used to spend hours on Saturday afternoon listening to this album. Wide Eyed Wonder contained an unusually high level of creativity, genre bending, and lyric writing and those songs will often still play in my head to this day.

I supported this a few weeks ago just for the new album.  I don't need another copy of Wide Eyed Wonder, tears, or anything else.  I suspect it will happen regardless of "success" in funding.

Yeah, the tears thing was dumb. I hate marketing gimmicks like that. Honestly, I don't even like signatures and autographs. They're just people like you and I.

I like autographs but I like personal ones: where I tracked down the artist at a concert.  You're right, artists are just people and the cool ones know that (I've met Steve, Derri, and Dan from The Choir and had CDs signed).  I'm ok with an artist signing their work.

Signed pre-orders I'd just as soon save the money and not get.

Saw The Choir the other night live. It was awesome. Having Robin on bass seemed to bring new life into the band. Even more so than when I saw them play Circle Slide last year. (Full disclosure: my lovely wife also attended this concert and she enjoyed it as well, so that added to my enjoyment watching her like the music).

All that being said, I'm reluctant to pick up the new album (Bloodshot), as the style of songs the band has generated since Free Flying Soul hasn't grabbed me.
