I don't think there's any gray area at all.  The solution to a rape is not a murder.

For myself, I would agree.  I could see and even sympathize with someone in that situation, however.  That's all I mean.  Notice I said "to some".  I would not consider abortion an option.

Me too.  I'm sure its very psychologically traumatic to have a lifelong reminder to a crime, one that lives in the victim for 9 months...  but the proper therapy should convey that the child is innocent, and in a way, is a victim as well.  Destroying an embryo will only relieve one psychological trauma (the "reminder" is gone) and create another one that is, in my opinion, worse.  (I killed a baby)

My opinion, the only time abortion is a viable option is if the following happens:
1) The developing child has a major defect, one that will not allow it to survive outside the womb (ie: Anencephaly)
2) Carrying the child to full term will be fatal to the mother.

It blows my mind some of the choices I've seen people make regarding this. I saw on the news, there was a mother-to-be expecting a child and it was found she had a very aggressive cancer. The choices were, start treatment NOW, save her life, but the child will die... or delay treatment, the baby will be born, but the cancer will kill the mother.

She carried the baby to full term, and then the mother died.

...wouldn't it make more sense to mourn the loss of the child, but have more children later? (even if it was by means of adoption?)

Yes!  Those are absolute medical necessities.  Only then would an abortion even be conceivable.  Of course, since my wife and I don't have children, we'd be thrilled to learn we were expecting especially at our getting more and more advanced ages.  I'd love to be a dad when everyone else is moving to grandkids.

^Infowars is a super conservative news organization who are usually about the last to be concerned with offending liberals.  Actually I think they typically choose such words very intentionally.

Why does the press ask a question and then interrupt the answer? I've only got Fox news and ABC news on Hulu Plus, but in their grilling of various people regarding Trump's immigration ban, they start barking and stammering random crap while the person is answering.
