So I have decided to buy an Ibanez and have narrowed it down to 2 different models in the price range I want to spend and with the setup I want ...I play mostly late 70s and 80s hard rock and metal...which of these 2 do you think I should go with...(I have always played fender/fender style but want something else..I currently have a strat and a tele and Charvel)

Can you actually try the guitar out before buying?   I've never been happy with Ibby stock pickups, and the fretwork can be iffy on non Prestige models straight out of the box...... They appear to pretty much be the same guitar except for the body shape cosmetics.....in which case I prefer the RG shape on standard 6 strings.
