I'm not sure if this will count for much, but I was in a band from 1992 till roughly 2003 called Narrow Road (Several other bands currently use that name).  We started out as Christian rock though increasingly mellowed over time.  As mellow as our entire catalog sounds now by today's comparison, we were viewed as radical by the Baptist college we attended in the early 1990's.  The "cheese" factor of our early material is good for a laugh at the very least.  Nonetheless, I was in a band once upon a time.  We still regroup upon the sporadic request to perform.  Though we did rock in our early years, we were still far from being metal; I'll understand if our band doesn't merit being included on the list.
