Spotify Wrapped 2024

Let’s see your Spotify Wrapped results. I was actually quite surprised to see Flood at the top for me. Although this isn’t fully representative of my listening habits, as I frequently listen to some of my favorite albums via CD’s or digital downloads

I use YouTube more frequently, but I still got 55,550 minutes of Spotify listens this year. Apparently my top artist was Petra, I guess because I had a playlist of all their songs ranked that I listened to quite a bit near the beginning of the year. After that were Metallica, Megadeth, Tourniquet, and Deliverance, which doesn't surprise me since those are my top 4 bands oat.

My number 1 for the year was Newsboys. That’s how METAL I am.

I mainly use iTunes because that’s where I put my purchases. I only got 7,000 minutes on Spotify this year. 

My top 5 artists: 

1. Newsboys 
2. Rich Mullins 
3. Becoming the Archetype 
4. WhiteHeart 
5. Norma Jean

The last one is interesting, because I’m not really a fan. But recently my friend and I were discussing them so I went on a binge of their early stuff to discuss with him. I guess it was enough to give them the fifth spot.

3. Ghosts in the Mist by Unleash the Archers

I do not see my Spotify Wrapped list yet.  I suppose I need to wait until I get notified that it was compiled.

Should be able button you can use that says wrapped.

Oh I see it in my phone app but not the website.  Weird.

I actually DID Listen to Metallica....I made a "best of" playlist earlier in the year.  

However I guess we can't see any tallies beyond our Top 5?   Anybody know for sure?

Definitely not the results I expected but okay....

I’m not convinced my wrapped was completely accurate, honestly, especially as it comes to songs.

I’m not at all surprised Newsboys were my top artist, though.

Yeah these never quite work out how you think they would.  For instance, I listened to a lot of classical this year...where are any of those?   Or Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, dance pop, 80's pop...I though for sure those were higher listened-to items.
