Steven Curtis Chapman

Any fans of this guy? It’s easy to categorize him as bland CCM, but I think that does him a disservice. The musicianship is excellent, his catalog has a good bit of variety, and his lyrics are well above average for CCM. I’ve been a fan for years, although I don’t know a whole lot of his music past Declaration. My favorite album is For the Sake of the Call, but anything from Real Life Conversations through Declaration is quality stuff in my book.

My wife and I think his Christmas Album is one of the best ever made. CHRISTMAS IS ALL IN THE HEART.

I have always liked the "More To This Life" album, some great songs there.

Outside of that, I like "Lord Of The Dance" and "Heaven In The Real World" but haven't heard a lot of his later material.
