1. Theocracy 
It's not even a contest for the number one spot in my opinion. They only have 5 albums, but they are all masterpieces.

2. Twilight Force
This my upset some people, but I've fallen in love with them from the first listen. At The Heart if Wintervale and Dawn of the Dragonstar are amazing albums. I can't wait for the next one with Bradley Hall(Bramley Underhill) on lead guitar!

3. DragonForce
I know they are a bit overrated because of TTFATF, but they are still a really great band. Herman and Sam are amazing guitarists.

4. Symphony X
I only started listening to them for the first time today. I'm a few songs into V: The New Mythology Suite and I already know that they belong here. I can tell that they probably should be at 3, but I couldn't put them any higher till I listen more.

5. Narnia
More simple and classic sounding than the rest of these bands. I love the early albums.

They only have one album, but it's so good.

- modern Stryper
They aren't full power metal, but they are closer to that than full glam since NMHTP.

I need to listen to more variety in general, tbf. It's usually just the same 50 or so bands whenever I listen to anything.

Stratovarius (Tolkki era mainly, but they still are great)
Sonata Arctica (The first 4 albums are great. After Reckoning Night I started to lose interest)
