If Dimensions would only have Singularity and The Trilogy of Knowledge, it would probably be number 1 or at least number 2 on the list.
If Dimensions wouldn't have Singularity and The Trilogy of Knowledge, it would certainly be the worst. Transhuman is much better than most of Dimensions, but especially The Trilogy of Knowledge is so amazingly good that I can't put the album below Transhuman.
If we count the "1 of 5" etc EPs then they would be on the bottom of the list. I'd love to hear the last two batches of them though. We only got them up to "3 of 5".

Re: Rank the Believer albums
I started listening to the “of 5”s, but they sound absolutely nothing like Believer. When I go to Believer, I’m going for some thrash. Not whatever these are.

I haven’t gotten to listen to Gabriel or Transhuman. Are they good albums?

My opinion: Gabriel is more in line with their early stuff; though not quite as good.
Transhuman is less thrashy and more proggy. Still good, just different.

Re: Rank the Believer albums
Honestly, I haven't listened to Dimensions, Transhuman, or Gabriel since they each came out. They were interesting and good, just not something I ever made time for again, so I can't rank them. But I still love Sanity Obscure and Extraction from Mortality. They're perfect albums to me.

A better production would help Gabriel but it has some amazing songs and still holds out.
I recommend you to check out at least Medwton, The Need for Conflict and Focused Lethality. Amazing thrash songs all of them!
Stoned also has some amazing riffs here and there. The album has plenty of weird avantgarde moments but it's not even nearly as obtuse as Dimensions at worst was.
It doesn't really have a bad song in it although some of them are more forgettable than others. It's mostly still thrash and has many fast moments but some of the songs take a step into a post-modern alternative heavy pop metal in the vein of, say, 30 Seconds to Mars.
I love the vocals in Gabriel. They sound a bit like Destruction because of the vocals.
Transhuman goes into the "30 Seconds to Mars" direction a lot more, but it has a few thrash pieces too. Vocally it has a bit of metalcore influences too. And many of the other style songs either have a nice mood or good and catchy melodies.

You can currently listen to the full album here:
Listen to that first riff on the album. It's among Believer's best for sure!

Isn’t the singer for Killswitch Engage on Gabriel? Or was it another band? (I want to say KE but it could be a different band)

I can’t rank the first three, honestly. But I find the constant slander of Dimensions around here to be troubling. It’s killer.

He sings with Kurt in one song, The Brave.
It's probably my least favorite track in the album.

Re: Rank the Believer albums
Dimensions imo just isn’t very memorable and is a little too weird for thrash. The first two are incredible though. I might put EFM at number one.Pethead wrote:I can’t rank the first three, honestly. But I find the constant slander of Dimensions around here to be troubling. It’s killer.

Clean Room is my favorite song on Transhuman. It's not on YouTube tho so I've only heard it twice when it came on PandoraAirola wrote:Christian Thrash Rules wrote:I haven’t gotten to listen to Gabriel or Transhuman. Are they good albums?
