what was your process for the drums and drum sound? I'm interested because I want to take my drum sound to the next level on my next album.

For the drums I'm using EZDrummer.  The recordings are done in sections which allows for a more natural feel because they are actual recordings of real drummers.  I pick the kit I like and then go through the different sections of rhythms until I find one that fits. It also allows you to add beats or shorten sections to give some tweaking.
