These are the actual lyrics:

Yet this is what I hear (even though it makes little sense).  And no matter how hard I try, I still can't seem to hear it the way the lyrics are supposed to be.

"She's my sweet little thang, she's my pride and joy
She's my sweet little baby, and my little lover boy"
