Re: Misheard lyrics
Petra’s “Back to the Street.” I thought the lyric was “naked heart” instead of “aching heart.”
When I first heard Led Zeppelin’s “Achilles’ Last Stand” I thought “the mighty arms of Atlas” was “the mighty arms of baptists.”

Re: Misheard lyrics
In Golden Earring’s song Twilight Zone, there’s a line that says “sirens in my head.” I cannot hear anything other than “submarines in my head” though.
In Skid Row’s 18 and Life, at first I thought the line “he worked his fingers to the bone” said “he worked his fake a** to the bone” lol

Re: Misheard lyrics
When I was a kid Joe Diffie’s “Third Rock from the Sun” was a big hit. The chorus lyric is “cause and effect, change of events.” But 8/9 year old me thought the line was “Cause an event, chain up your pants.” I’d go around singing it at the top of my lungs. No one corrected me because they were too busy laughing.

Johnny Nash - I Can See Clearly Now
It sounds like he is saying “I can see clearly now Lorraine is gone" or "your aim is gone" but he is really saying “I can see clearly now the rain is gone."

Re: Misheard lyrics
The chorus to Metallica's Prince Charming contains the words "much to young to focus, but". The emphasis on "but" Makes it sound like "much to young to poke his butt"

"Don’t Bring Me Down" By Electric Light Orchestra
According to Rolling Stone, ELO used the word “groose” after hearing from an audio engineer that the word could be used as a German greeting.
The lyric is:
Don’t bring me down, groose
But this is what I always hear:
Don’t bring me down, Bruce
...I'm always left wondering what Bruce did to bring Jeff Lynne down....

2:20 "when God said to man 'kill a cow'" (this one is especially ironic due to the message of the song lol)

Queen - We Will Rock You
This is the real verse:
"You got mud on your face
You big disgrace
Kicking your can all over the place"
I hear:
"You got blood on your face
big disgrace
Kicking your cat all over the place"
....I figured he person referenced has blood on his/her face because he/she keeps kicking the poor cat and it scratches back!
