I still play it rarely. People act like the cringe memes about the game made the game itself cringeChristian Thrash Rules wrote:Well, obviously Mafia inspired it lol. My favorite Carpenter movie, and one of my top 10–20 films ever. A masterclass in tension, paranoia, and horror. (10/10)

Re: Recently Watched Movies
I was surprised by this one. It's a lot better than most Pixar movies released in recent years. I did love Onward though. It's the best since like 2010ish.WildWorld wrote:Inside Out 2

Re: Recently Watched Movies
What's your favorite movie of theirs? I still haven't seen any Meet (insert movie title here) ones. I did see Meet the Mummy at one point a long time ago, but I don't remember any of it. I own every movie they ever made on DVD though.oldschooldoom wrote:Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)

Longlegs - just short of hating it.
Prey - decent continuation of the Predator series.
Something Wicked This Way Comes - great classic dark fantasy.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Prey was better than it had any right to be. It’s no patch on the original, but it’s far from being the worst in the series.

Stabbed through foot.
Leg caught in a wolf trap.
Leg cut.
Shot in shoulder.
Bit by wolf.
Bit by brown bear!
Speared through upper torso.
Shot in head!
Arm chopped off!!
Just kept coming.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Yeah, it’s not a perfect movie and it was oversold a bit. But at this point I’m happy with a watchable Predator film.

I like it better than the first one. I didn't love the concept of "your emotions control you" because that's not true. But they handled it a little better in 2 imo. I was also nervous how they would handle the topic of anxiety, and they did good.StevenCressler wrote:Still need to watch that, really liked the first oneWildWorld wrote:Inside Out 2

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Cleaned up for tv version of Suicide Squad. Pretty cool, off-beat creature feature of "super"heroes/villains. Couldn't tell if it was a reboot or a sequel, but from what I could tell it was better than the first version according to fans. Sly Stallone steals the show as the Shark King.

Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
The three Narnia movies are so good. I wish they would make more. There's a book or two that might be difficult since Eustace is full grown now. But they could make a few more movies for sure.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
The wife and I watched the Argentinian suspense/drama The Aura recently. It stars Ricardo Darin who's in every single suspense/mystery/drama flick from Argentina haha, but he's usually in quite good movies. I'd give it maybe 6/10. It was very slow but had good a atmosphere and setting, and a fine premise. It was quite predictable though, pretty bleak, and the events transpired in such a way that all the loose ends were tied so neatly which killed much of the suspension of disbelief. All in all, it was still pretty entertaining.
