Hey guys was wondering if anyone could recommend me some christian bands from christian metals golden age. (80's to early 90's)
Demos are okay i enjoy digging around the internet for obscure bands. I like heavy metal not glam metal . bands I like from that time are Saint, Valor, Apostle, Sacred  Warrior, barren cross. Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for the recommendations. I enjoyed the haven, recon, xalt- dark war, scepter, emerald, messiah prophet, bloodgood. Bride, thunder child, Armageddon , knight riot
Thanks again. I may have to revisit the others but upon first listen Even though they are good bands their is something about them that just doesn’t grab me.

For a newer band check out Last Times. They are out of Brazil and put out a heavy "Saint" vibe.

Thanks, I purchased a couple of weeks ago and it just dawned on me listening last night that it had a Saint vibe. Good stuff though. I wonder if Lex has any further info about the band since he has a pulse on the Brazilian scene
