He matured into a great songwriter mixing sarcastic with with some really touching lyrics. Then he was gone for a long time. There's nobody like him in Christian music. I've said it before but Finish Line hits me.

I was disappointed in Goliath because the lyrics were far more esoteric, more like Chagall Guevara.

I think it's more a band effort so maybe that affected the lyrics but I only mildly like it.
