Neocracy - thrash/death/core
Saw them mentioned in another underrated band thread. They have 4 albums out and haven't seen them anywhere else on here.

I'm guessing I was the one who mentioned them. They're always the first band I think of when those topics come up. Seriously killer band, I don't know how they never managed to gain a lot of traction.
Also didn't know they had a 4th album, and didn't look hard but can't find anything about it anywhere except being mentioned on metal archives?

They have to be about the most accomplished, least known band that has ever been. Whenever I mention them (several times over many years) at least one person says exactly this.

Finally checking these guys out. This is good stuff. Seriously good stuff. I’m listening to The Fourth. What’s their best album?

Don't know. It's not my favorite style and haven't heard more than a few songs. I thought they sounded pro and a lot of folks besides me would like them. I'm not sure how many Christian lyrics they actually have, especially on their latest album.

I guess maybe I'd start with The Fourth? I haven't heard the new one from youtube mentioned above. The Instinct for Conflict is great and has decent (enough) production but is only 4 tracks, Instruments of Abandonment is full-length but has weak production. The Fourth might be the better of both worlds. All have good songs, IMO, but especially in the day of mp3's and shuffle playlists I haven't parsed what is what exactly in a very long time.

Any idea where I can find their first album? I've been doing some searching online but haven't found it for sale or download anywhere.

Good grief, these guys are really good.
If this had come out in the late 80's/early 90's, it would have gotten noticed for sure.
