Omegashift (heavy/doom/gothic metal/rock)

I stumbled upon these Norwegians on FB and really dig 'em.  I don't know much about 'em other than they're "Christians in a band."  I'd categorize their music as female-fronted heavy/doom/gothic metal/rock but they don't exactly fit into any one genre (obviously, haha).  Fans of Leonov take note!  I recommend listening to the whole song as it ebbs/develops some as it progresses.

Yeah this is right up my alley!  One of the members shared the lyrics to this song and they're excellent: biblical, clear yet quite poetic, and very well written.  This band is rapidly climbing up my most-excited-about-new-bands list haha!

Ive spun this song a few more times and REALLY looking forward to it. This reminds me of Anneke van Giersbergen era The Gathering which I am a HUGE fan and am excited to have a Christian band with that sound and to the lead sing to be able to remind me of possibly the best Female vocalist in that genre WOW!

I will be picking up thsi release

I'm right there with you; I've had Lazarus Brigade on repeat since I got it haha.  I suspect this EP will be included in the "albums that wowed you" thread for me...
