I dig it! I remember checking out their demo when it got re-released some time ago and it didn't click with me, but this sounds really good. I'll have to revisit the demo and keep my eyes peeled for their new album.

Always skeptical when it comes to listening to a new christian metal band. But this is high quality and the best thing I have heard from the christian metal camp for sometime. Very Iced Earth vibes here, great find Temple of Blood.

Potential. Song should probably start at the 4:25 mark. Almost fell asleep. Could wait that long if the payoff is incredible. While good, it was a bit anti-climactic for that long of a build up to just finish off plodding on the backside. All kinds of potential though, especially the vocals. Would like to hear an entire album of the material from the 4:25-5:25 mark Seem to have the chops with the right songwriting.

Re: Thee Final Chaptre - great USPM
I've been listening to their demo earlier this week. I really liked the sound but because it lacked memorability (after all I'm a power metal fan) I decided to take it off my wish list.
This however peeks my interest. Much richer in a musical sense.
EDIT: I just saw that this is a re recording from a song from the demo. I never got so far on my aforementioned listening session, obviously.

This is a step in the right direction but we'll see how the rest sounds.
That demo that was re-released as an E.P. by Divebomb Records ("It Is Written") was lacking in the song-writing department. I agree that the intro to this song went on for too long and lost my interest.

Hmm, looks like a case of Doom metal deficiency doc. Or it could be the internet has altered the concentration and focus of its technological victims. I prescribe a good dose of Doom to help you to become more drone like, kind of like a depressed weed in the garden, hating the sun for withering it away even more. Pretty soon you'll grow to love your misery. And thus, long stretches of repetitive gloomy music.Constantine wrote:This is a step in the right direction but we'll see how the rest sounds.

Constantine, if you're looking for a second opinion on the matter, I fully advocate for the same doooooooomy treatment.

When you get to be my age and you've heard it all and then some, you know when to fish or cut bait during a song. After all, life on earth is short, who wants to spend time listening to stuff that you don't connect with?

Re: Thee Final Chaptre - great USPM
In my case I found the shorter songs lacking in the songwriting department, way too monotonous (as is often the case with underground traditional metal bands from the US and for some reason, also Greece). So the length of an intro isn't much of a problem to me.
But what I've learned over the past few years is that I can't trust my judgement in the long run. One example from yesterday: I gave the debut album from Highlord (Euro power metal, I know, fight me) another chance after trying it a few times before without becoming interested. But now it clicked for some reason and I love it.
Sometimes I claim by myself that I have the same ability as Constantine has, namely conclusively hearing if you're gonna like it or not. My guess is that he has more experience than I have.

I'm surprised that no one commented on the vocals. I thought they were amazing. This doesn't sound like an old band to me.

Quite right. The beginning part actually reminded me of disturbed or something close to that. Then it went Iced Earth.Temple of Blood wrote:I'm surprised that no one commented on the vocals. I thought they were amazing. This doesn't sound like an old band to me.

I mentioned it sounded like Ripper, not the whole thing but part of it.

28 seconds from 4:35-5:03 sounded pretty cool! The other parts could be described as calming I guess you could say.

I'd say after the 3:11 mark it's not calming, some nice guitar work throughout too. The more I listen to this song the more I like it.

The new album just dropped. Didn't care for the first song,. but after that it gets really good.
A huge step up from the E.P. Will surely earn a place on my Top albums of 2021 list.

This is solid. I’m not a big fan of US power metal, in general, but the guitar tones are so good, they’re infectious.

Musically and lyrically, this is an excellent Christian metal album!
Vocally, I really like all songs except for the low growls.
The Hallowed Hymn is an epic masterpiece.
