They are Christian friendly not quite dungeons and dragons but kind of ancient times stuff. Has the original Wytch Hazel lead singer. THis new album would fit right in their discog.

Cool.  I knew the Wytch Hazel guy was involved but hadn't looked into 'em too much more yet.  Thanks!

Roth-Brock Project (2017)
Really good AOR project from two veteran performers.  Some really good tunes in the Giant/Journey kinda vein.

They met while playing in Giant. Brock has sang on a ton of stuff, you might check him out on Slamer's Nowhere land album.

I have that recent Giant album.  Very good, but it didn't seem very Giant like without Dan singing IMO.  I have a few of the albums Brock did with Strangeway, and even one of his solo albums.  Never heard of Slamer, I will definitely have to check it out.  Thanks.

Some great tunes on that album.  "One" has got to be my favorite song they ever recorded, and I don't even really consider myself much of a fan of the band even (just owned this album and a greatest hits comp).

Queensrÿche - Rage for Order

I really don't see why people think this is such a great album. It's pretty boring IMO.

I'm afraid so. It starts off well with Walk in the Shadows, but after that it's mainly slower songs without redeeming factors like good melodies or surprising arrangements.

Maybe it's a thing about early US prog metal, because I still don't get what people think is so great about Transcendence by Crimson Glory.
