Kind of a weird question.

Are there any Christian bands that sound like The Doobies or Steely Dan?

I do not know of one that sounds like the Doobies. Maybe someone else does though.
However, for Steely Dan, check out the latest Ole Børud release "Outside The Limit."
You can listen to tracks on You Tube and Spotify.
This album is not my favorite of his, but it is good and I was surprised at how close to Steely Dan some of it sounded. Like this track which is a dead ringer for the 'Dan:

It's still kind of weird he can go from Extol to this but it's quality.
