I Am A Stone acoustic chords Empty I Am A Stone acoustic chords

Hi guys. I've got my 6 string out for the first time in ages and have been giving the acoustic version of Demon Hunter's I Am A Stone a go. There's a chord in it, Cmaj9#11 that I'm having trouble with. Any ideas on an easier, similar sounding chord I could get away with? Been trying C but doesn't sound right to me. Cheers.
