Wanted: Grave Forsaken-Light The Hall! Vinyl

I’m looking for a limited, hand numbered vinyl pressing of Grave Forsaken—Light The Hall! on label: Iron Guardian Industries...IGI001


Recorded live at Serpentine Jarrahdale Recreation Centre, Byford, Western Australia on 18th July 2008. Mixed and mastered at North Wind Studio.


I believe it also came with a dvd of the Blackstump festival documentary and their live set, but I really just need the vinyl....although both would be great.

Do you have the cd? I know where you can find a still sealed cd version. Comes with the 2 hour bonus dvd

I sent you a private message as to where the cd is currently available. Please let me know if you received it. The vinyl is limited to 25 copies, so it’s going to be extremely hard to find. I don’t know anyone who has it. Sorry!

I am still on the hunt for this Vinyl…it’s been quite a few years and still nothing.

Actually this wasn't a vinyl PRESSING, it was a vinyl CUT. Modern vinyl cuts are comparable to vinyl pressings in terms of quality and durability. The set-up costs are much lower, but there are very high costs for cutting each individual disc. Therefore, this was a short run of only 25 copies and the selling price for a disc was certainly quite high at the time.
So it is not surprising that it is very difficult to get hold of a copy.

My tip would be to politely ask all the owners of a copy directly on Discogs whether they could imagine selling their copy. After all, there are 7 owners listed there - but presumably also some band members who would certainly never sell their copy. :-D

Another possibility would be to contact the band to see if it would be possible to have a copy made for you. This would mean quite a lot of work and would certainly not be cheap (a very rough estimate would be 70 dollars for cutting the disc, 30 dollars for printing the cover, 10 dollars for printing the labels). But who knows: maybe the band will take pity on you and invest the necessary effort to make you happy. Of course, it is also problematic to simply make more copies of a product that was sold as a "limited edition". This cancels out the idea of a "limited edition".

Back around 2018 or 2019 I reached out to Vaughn of Grave Forsaken, but he didn’t know of anybody in the band or the few fans willing to part with their copy. He did express interest in releasing vinyl editions of the GF catalog , but it was very cost prohibitive for him and he was hesitant on doing it. I may reach out again and see if there is any interest now. I did contact a few fans that had the vinyl but only one responded with a resounding No Way! … this apparently was their "holy grail” in their collection.
At this point, I may reach out to some of the owners again as it’s been a few years…maybe they might be willing to sell or trade.
For now, I will enjoy my cd’s of GF but will always look forward to the possibility of future GF on vinyl!
