Remembering Rick Elias

Old news, though I haven't seen it posted anywhere around here:  Singer/Songwriter/Musician Rick Elias passed away from brain cancer on April 2, 2019.  He was 64 years old.  Rick was a member of Rich Mullins' Ragamuffin Band.  He had released several Christian rock albums, beginning in 1990, and his music was also included in film:  That Thing You Do, Dawson's Creek and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.  I personally own two of Rick's albums, and would place his songcraft along the lines of Mellencamp, Springsteen and the late Tom Petty, albeit with a Christian worldview.  Just wished to mention of his passing as Rick used his talents and gifts for shining The Light within this world.

I enjoy him when I'm in the mood for that style, he did it well.

I haven't been here for a few months.  I really like Rick, and his wife Linda.
