Those Who Fear - State of Mind

Djent infused metalcore band Those Who Fear have released State of Mind on Facedown Records. I'm listening this morning for the first time and am as impressed as when I first heard them on Unholy Anger. Heavy, driving stuff. Very nice.

I really like their sound when they nail it. I enjoyed Death Sentence more than Unholy Anger. It does seem like they've become more dynamic over the three albums but are the songs all going to be good or half? Death Sentence, I loved half (86'd is absolutely amazing!) and the other half were ok but nothing to come back to.

I really enjoyed Death Sentence but I agree, only about half the songs I really went back and listen to more than a few times, like 86'd, Bruised, Ego Trip, and Sunday Night Special


I previewed the new album and really like what I have heard, Ten Years, and the songs with Garret of Silent Planet and Tommy from Sleeping Giant are great songs
