I almost NEVER watch DVDs but I would pay good money for audio CDs of this.

I have a lot of concerns about this campaign, but one thing I love and would love to see more artists do in their campaigns is the broken-down budget.  $45K is a LOT of money, and it is good to see them tell potential backers how that money will be spent.  I'm also SHOCKED that Kickstarter's cut is 10%.  That makes what Alan was talking about in the crowdfunding thread seem a lot more appealing from a fan perspective.

You'd think they'd at least record it in HD being 2005.

Well, the kickstarter did not even make half of what they wanted. Here's what I say. Sell digital access! They already have all the footage and it's already been edited. Just release it on a password protected website and sell passwords for like 5 or 10 bucks, something like that. Everybody wins.

Or they could use an on demand DVD service where the DVDs are only made if someone orders it.
